With help from a grant awarded by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Kitty DeGree Breast Health Center has established the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Resource Center. This center is a convenient, easily accessible place people can visit for information and support services related to breast cancer.

The Northeast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure office is located within the Kitty DeGree Breast Health Center. The office is staffed on Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. You may call the Affiliate office at 361-4265.

Additionally, the Center has an affiliation with the American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program. This on-site free program teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Trained, volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry.
